Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Swara ("we," "us") collects when you use swara.tech and the associated service (the "Service"), and how it is used and protected.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and login details, including through Google sign-in if you use it.
• Brand information: your website URL, brand colors, tone, and any details you provide during onboarding.
• Photos: any images you upload for use in posts, along with the names and details you give them (for example a product name and price). Photos are stored privately for your account.
• Content you give us: websites, links, notes and news you add to your Vault, and the posts we create for you.
• Usage data: how you interact with the Service, such as which features are used and error reports, for reliability and improvement.
• Billing information: handled directly by our payment processor, Razorpay (India) and Dodo Payments (everywhere else). We do not store card or bank details ourselves; we keep only a subscription reference and its status.

2. How we use your information

• To generate content and graphics on your behalf.
• To operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
• To communicate with you about your account or the Service.
• To process payments and manage subscriptions.
• To send you the emails described below.
• To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Who processes your information

We do not sell your information. To run the Service we share the minimum needed with these providers, who process it on our behalf:

• Anthropic and Groq (AI): your brand details, the text you add, and the photos you upload are sent to them to write your captions, to describe what a photo shows, and to check quality. We send only what each task needs.
• Supabase (database and file storage): your account, posts and photos are stored here, in Singapore.
• Vercel (hosting): serves the website and runs the Service.
• Razorpay (payments in India) and Dodo Payments (payments elsewhere, and our merchant of record): process payments and subscriptions.
• Resend (email): delivers the emails we send you.
• Google (optional sign-in): only if you choose to sign in with Google.

Pages you ask us to read (such as your website) are fetched from their public address. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

4. Emails

We send emails about your account and payments, and, unless you opt out, a weekly summary and reminders (for example, to add new photos before a new month starts). Every such email has an unsubscribe link. Emails about payments and your account will still be sent.

5. Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account yourself from Settings, which cancels any subscription and permanently removes your profile, posts, photos and files. Some records, such as payment records held by Razorpay or Dodo Payments and invoices we must keep for tax purposes, are retained for as long as the law requires. Backups are overwritten on their normal schedule.

6. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date on this page.
